Description: Nahid Moslemi (born December 15, 1955) is an Iranian theater and cinema actress. Biography: Moslemi was born in Tehran. She started her acting career in 1978, appearing in the play "Dictation and Angle," directed by Bahram Dehghan. She joined the classes of Rokn al-Din Khosravi and later enrolled in the Anahita Institute, managed by Mostafa Eskooyi, in 1983. Simultaneously with her theater classes, she worked as a translator for the Red Crescent for several years. Nahid Moslemi began her professional career with the Anahita Eskooyiha theater group and made her stage debut with Behzad Farahani. She studied English literature and comparative cultural history. She received acclaim at various festivals, and in 2006, she won the Best Actress award from the Theater Actors Association for her performance in the play "Moon in the Water" by Mohammad Yaghoubi. Nahid Moslemi is the mother of Shida Khaligh, an Iranian actress. In 2013, at the thirty-second Fajr Theater Festival, Nahid Moslemi was honored with an award for her outstanding contributions to Iranian theater.
