Life: Azita Hajiyan, originally named Hedi Hajiyan, was born in 1958 in Malayer. Her former husband is Mohammad Reza Sharifinia, and they have two children named Mehraveh Sharifinia and Malika Sharifinia. Both of her children are active in the field of acting and have earned degrees in acting and theater directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Art in Tehran. Her artistic career began in 1975 with the play "Mrs. Sun Can," and she has since been involved in various theater productions, including "Bahram Choubin," "Zhendarak," "Nasl Avarah," "Silent Display," "Gypsum Circle of the Caucasus," and more. Azita Hajiyan entered the world of cinema in 1989 with the film "The Stolen Dolls" directed by Mohammad Reza Honarmand. In 1998, she won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 17th Fajr International Film Festival for her performance in the film "The Red Ribbon."
