Ali Ansarian (July 14, 1356 – February 4, 2021) was an Iranian footballer, television presenter, and actor. He began his career in 1375 by playing for the Fajr Shahid Sepasi Shiraz football club, and he reached the pinnacle of his career with Persepolis, ultimately bidding farewell to his football profession in 1390. After retiring from football, Ansarian became active in the entertainment and television industry. He participated in over ten films, numerous television series, and hosted several online TV programs. In May 1390, he released a song titled "Shadid" in the music market but did not continue his singing career. Unfortunately, Ali Ansarian passed away on February 15, 1399, two weeks after being hospitalized at Farhikhtegan Hospital in Tehran due to COVID-19. In his career, Ansarian acted in 28 films, one short film, and several television series, including notable series like "Noghtechin" and "Zir-e Aseman-e Shahr." He also took on the role of producer for three films: "Kalaf," "Hediyeh," and "Hokm-e Tir." In 1394, Ansarian was nominated for the Best Actor in a Leading Role award at the Fajr Film Festival for his role in the film "Sookhtan." In 2018, he participated in the film "Captain Amir" and attended the 36th Milan International FICTS Festival for sports films. At the 36th Tehran International Short Film Festival in 1398, he won the Best Actor award for his role in the short film "Ghofl." In the 2020 Blackbird International Film Festival in New York, Ali Ansarian was nominated for the Best Actor in a Male Role award for his performance in the short film "Ghofl." He was posthumously awarded the Best Male Actor title for his role in the film "Koulbarf" at the 39th Bulgaria Film Festival on October 6, 2020.
